REGLAMENT OF

“CYPRUS SUNSHINE CUP 09”

1. The Cyprus Sunshine Cup 09 is organized under the regulations of the UCI and the CCF and the present reglement of the events

2. Categories

Riders of the following categories are allowed participate In the Cyprus Sunshine cup 09

Men Elite for the UCI races
Women elite for the UCI races
U23 men for Cyprus Sunshine Cup #4 only

Juniors men with license
Junior women with licence
Cadets 15-16 years old with license
Masters 1 men and women with License (31-40 years old)
Masters 2 men and women with License (41+ years old)

Fun category Men and women without licence (19-30 years old)

Masters 1 men and women without License (31-40 years old)
Masters 2 men and women without License (41 years old)

Cyprus Sunshine Cup 08 consists of 5 races as follows

Men elite and women elite categories receive points and prize money according to the UCI Class one (Europe B) regulations.

4. General Classification

General classification is the final classification after all five events of Cyprus Sunshine Cup 08. points are awarded as follows:

2^nd Place 90 points

3^rd Place 85 Points

4^th place 80

5^th place 75

6^th place 70

7^th place 68

8^th place 65

9^th place 64

10^th place 63

11^th place 62

12^th place 61

13^th place 60

14^th place 59

-1 (minus1) point per place…

5. Numbers distribution and training on course.

There will be a registration and inscription office open for every event. Team managers and riders must pick up their numbers on the working hours of the office.

Numbers will be awarded as follows:

1. Winner of last years’ respective event

2. According to UCI World Ranking top 100 Men and Women Elite in XCO

3. The rest of the riders according to registration date

The office will be open from 09:00 to 16:00 on the eve of each event near the start area of each event. Courses would be marked and signed on the eve of the race day.

Official trainings are only on the eve of the race day and only for the XCO races. See specific program for each event

No one is allowed to train on the race course during other competitions!

6. “AFXENTIA 2009” –Cyprus Sunshine Cup #2 & #3

As every year AFXENTIA STAGE RACE is taking place. The race consists of three stages.

Stage 1 : Cyprus Sunshine Cup #2

Stage 2: Time trial race 8km – on the XCO course in Mantra tou Kampiou

Stage 3: Cyprus Sunshine Cup #3

The riders who wish to be included in the “AFXENTIA 2008” general Classification must register for this on their registration for Cyprus Sunshine cups #2 and #3. For the general classification there will be also extra prize money as follows.
